There are so many upgrades that you can do for both home and business pc's. Everything from processors, RAM, hard drives, video cards, almost everything in  tower is upgradeable.

Hard Drive
Out of room to store all those photo's? Need more space for those downloaded movies and music? An upgraded hard drive is for you. A new power supply will be necessary is you add high end hardware. Additional drives, video cards, and RAM can need additional power to run at it's recommended levels. Standard PC's usually have power supplies of 250-350 watts. Upgrade options include power supply's in the 750-1150 watt range.
